If you are staying in one of the From…
It’s very common to see Rome’s historic center portrayed in the media as beautiful, sure, but also chaotic, noisy, and unlivable; and it’s true, some streets are crowded at all hours, a few uncivilized people block them off with parking spaces that are imaginative to say the least, or that the litter has reached intolerable levels.
Yet it is still possible to find oases of tranquillity within walking distance of internationally known attractions such as Largo di Torre Argentina, the Tiber Island, or the Ghetto. Vaccinari, our most recent acquisition, is just one of them.
This apartment is immersed in an environment rich in history and vestiges of the past, in places crossed by characters such as the revolutionary leader Cola di Rienzo, who was born here, or (presumably!) Beatrice Cenci, who lived a few minutes from here.
This narrow street, which today is almost overshadowed by the importance of the nearby Via Arenula or the Lungotevere river banks, still preserves the original layout of the ancient Roman street, millennia before the idea of walls to keep the river at bay.

Located on the fifth floor of a historic building that is, nonetheless, equipped with an elevator, Vaccinari has recently been renovated with a modern, smart layout to accommodate a larger kitchen/living room or to equip the bedroom with a large wardrobe. On the other hand, there is no classic dining table, and travelers who choose this space (which can sleep up to four people, two of which on the comfortable sofa bed) will find that Vaccinari is a “lean” house, perfect for accommodating those whose style is that of an explorer.
At the same time, Vaccinari is a relaxing choice: not only because it is walking distance to many places of interest, from the Pantheon to Piazza Navona to Campo de’ Fiori and the church of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Vaccinari is also convenient because the finishes of all the spaces were designed with comfort in mind!
