New at From Home to Rome: Avignonesi 2

When it comes to choosing accommodation for a vacation, location is definitely one of the most important features: from travel experts to the up and coming TikTok influencers, everyone in the travel industry agrees that this is especially true for a city the size of Rome.

Experience Rome at its most authentic

The first piece of good news in today’s post is that when you rent an apartment through From Home To Rome, you can be assured that this is a feature that we hold dear!

When you entrust us with your holiday stay, we want you to experience the beauty of Rome as comfortably as possible. One of the ways we do this is by making sure that all of the main attractions are within easy reach.

Just like our new acquisition, Avignonesi 2: a little gem with attention to detail, wedged between Piazza Barberini and the Trevi Fountain: everything is just a few minutes away (except the Vatican, of course! and for those who don’t feel like walking, the Colosseum!), and in the alleys of this very central part of Rome you can still discover an authentic city, with heritage shops, artisan workshops, picturesque views, all to be photographed.

Small, but with a twist (read on!)

Located on the second floor of a historic building with no elevator, the apartment can welcome up to four people: two in the bedroom and two on a comfortable sofa bed in the entrance room, which functions as a living/dining space. A kitchenette will allow you to prepare breakfast and other simple meals.

The real advantage of this apartment, however, is that if you are traveling with a larger group, Avignonesi 2 is located in the same building as another of our properties, Avignonesi 10 with the same amenities and sleeping accommodations: it is one floor above it and will allow you to stay with friends or family while maintaining your own privacy. An idea to consider!

We regret that this accommodation may not be suitable for travelers with walking disabilities or mobility issues due to the lack of an elevator.
