Apartment Augustus is a first for From Home to Rome.

Not for its location: this holiday apartment is in the same area of the city center where many of our managed accommodations are found, and walking distance from our office too!

And it’s not even its age: the palazzo where it is located has been there from the early 17th century, but many of our apartments are even in listed buildings older than that!

What’s different about Apartment Augustus is that its owner, interior designer Phoebe Lentini, is an American who has lived in Rome for a long time, and thus the decor of this lush flat by Castel Sant’Angelo is the unique result of her understanding of Italian culture and Northern-American sensibilities.

With art everywhere you look, marble floors & classic elements as well as modern conveniences (wine fridge! satellite TV! Jacuzzi bath!), this apartment can sleep comfortably up to seven people, which privacy will be central to the whole staying experience thanks to the 3 available bathrooms and the amount of space to lounge and relax.

Plus, Rome’s main landmarks are literally around the corner, making this accommodation a perfect base to explore at will such areas as Campo de’ Fiori, Via Giulia, Piazza Navona or the Vatican.
