Launching today: FHTR’s group experiences and events at Via Toscana!

group experiences and events at Via Toscana by From Home to Rome

If you are staying in one of the From Home to Rome apartments on Via Toscana, or even if you are a From Home to Rome guest elsewhere in the city, you already have access to one of Rome’s best-kept secrets: a shared rooftop terrace (see this older post!) with sweeping views over this charming corner of the Ludovisi/Sallustiano district. And it turns out there is a lot more you can do up there than simply admire the skyline!

The idea that changed it all

When we were tasked with managing our very first property at Via Toscana, Toscana 1, we were struck right away by the beautiful terrace on the roof that is the defining feature of the building. Immediately, this shared space looked perfect for so many activities that, as property managers, we had been asked about before from our guests: Is there a place you would recommend for a small gathering? What about an aperitivo al fresco? Where is the best cooking class in Rome? And so on and so forth.

All of a sudden, we had a versatile space and an owner willing to embrace our creativity. Enter our Group Experiences at Via Toscana!

From Home to Rome’s Group Experiences: a way to power up your holiday

Our group experiences are organized directly by FromHometoRome, and our guests can join in regardless of where they’re staying, whether it’s in the same building or one of the other dozens of accommodations we manage in the city.

As FromHometoRome caters to a diverse set of travelers, from first-time tourists to more seasoned explorers, our group experiences range from more meditative to more active: so far we have created cooking classes, wine tastings, yoga classes… And there is more coming your way!

How to browse through the available events?

Upon check-in in one of our accommodations, you’re provided to an online Guestbook, which is chock full of useful information, such as the history of the building, our tips about things to do nearby, places to eat at, and more. In there, you will also find a link to the available Group Experiences, with clear pricing and step by step instructions to book and pay through a secure link.

Extra events available for our Via Toscana guests!

If you decide to book one of the available accommodations on Via Toscana, there is an extra perk available for you: the possibility of having a VIP private experience just for you and your party! Our “VIP Private Experiences” are tailored for you and exclusive to those guest who stay at Via Toscana. Your imagination is the limit here: from a small ceremony to a book presentation, from a family get-together to a dinner al fresco, we can make it happen for you! You can learn more about it on this page, while booking can be done from a special section of our digital Guestbook, accessible only to guests at the via Toscana accommodations.

More events are coming!

Watch this space for even more special events created for our guests, from Italian-language aperitivo gatherings on Via Toscana’s roof terrace to Group City Tours set up with our partners at premium tour company Joy of Rome to a range of In-House Services designed to make your stay even more comfortable.

And of course, the terrace is there for you to enjoy on the regular…

In addition to the organized events, the rooftop terrace is simply open every day during the hours posted in the building for all Via Toscana guests — so do not hesitate to head up for a quiet breakfast al fresco, a drink at sunset or a lazy afternoon with a book and some music. All you need to do is bring whatever you fancy! To access all of our accommodations on via Toscana, see our booking page here.
