Property Description

This unique apartment is on a third floor (reachable via elevator). Past the entrance, a long corridor opens on the kitchen, complete with a balcony and fully equipped with all appliances : Nespresso coffee maker, toaster over, kettle, stove and oven. Opposite the kitchen door, you’ll find a large walk-in closet with the adjoining bathroom and the apartment’s washing machine. At the end of the corridor, a large space doubles as dining/living room and it can sleep up to four people: two on the mezzanine double bed, with a ladder access, and two on a comfortable sofa-bed. By this room you can access to the private terrace which you can enjoy in the warmer months. The apartment is also equipped with a SmartTV, A/C and a Wi-Fi connection.

It’s no wonder that the Roman district of Trastevere is loved by so many tourists each year: here, they get to enjoy an authentic Medieval borough enlivened with restaurants, cafes and cool hangouts. Oftentimes, though, your sleep will be perturbed by partygoers well into the early hours of the morning. That’s not the case with this cozy apartment into the lesser known part of the district, the one closest to the Vatican. This area is where locals still actually live and work, and it’s the perfect destination if you want to be close to the center of Rome (Campo de’ Fiori or Piazza Navona are across the river) while still be allowed to enjoy some quiet. And a spectacular one at that: this apartment overlooks the Janiculum Hill and part of the Botanical Gardens (a recommended visit), and it’s mere minutes away from both the Museum at Villa Farnesina/ Palazzo Corsini and the Lincean Academy.

Fantastic location. Walking distance from most major tourist spots while still keeping the old world feel of Trastevere. Tons of great bars and restaurants within a 10-15 min walk. Check in was a breeze. Our contact Marta couldn’t have been friendlier or more hospitable. The private balcony was great to unwind on after a long day of walking around the city. We would absolutely stay here again

One of the best airbnb's I have stayed in so far! The hosts were extremely friendly and funny. They left a bottle of wine in the fridge, a cute bag with coffee and snacks, as well as a guide for everything to do around the city (restaurants, attractions, shops, etc). The apartment itself was very clean, very comfortable, and in a pretty good location for all the main attractions in Rome. Loved it!
