The Torlonia, their collection and a new museum: a true event!
Along with the exhibition on Raphael, it should have…
Planning an international holiday for a large family or group is something that happens frequently, and it seems like it’s becoming a widespread trend.
Be it for anniversaries, vow renewals, retirements or even a “simple” wedding, we’re sure you’ve at least entertained the thought of going abroad with all your loved ones close.
And we’re also sure that even when it’s not yourself being tasked directly with the planning, you surely must know of or have heard of someone who is frustrated at the costs of having more than a handful of people in the same place for a number of days.
Hotels, of course, can accommodate every number of travelers, but that comes at a steep price.
When it comes to a city like Rome, particularly, finding big enough apartments in the city center and close to the major attractions is complicated to say the least.
Detached houses for rent are few and far between in the old town, and they may not be able to welcome just everybody – they might have different floors and someone in the party may have a mobility issue, for instance. Or spaces can be cramped, with some family members or friends suffering from lack of privacy.
That’s where Pianellari comes in.
At From Home to Rome, we are proud to have signed a deal to handle the management of four separate apartments in the same building in the Piazza Navona area. One more flat will be added to our portfolio starting 2020, giving us the unique chance to work for the first time on such a big multi-property.
Pianellari owes its name to the tranquil alley this historic block it is on. The same family owns it, and they have decided a while ago that it was too big for them, and arranged for several apartments to be created.
Pianellari (with every available flat numbered 1, 3, 5 and so on) will give those who are indeed arranging a holiday in Rome for a large group a chance to accommodate everyone in your party, without having to stress about anything else: the building is fitted with an elevator; every flat has its own bathroom, washing machine, dishwasher; every kitchen comes fully equipped, so every family or friend group can decide independently to prepare their own meals from scratch.
And, speaking of independence, while the available apartments are obviously close to one another, they’re distinct units, so everyone will have their own privacy and will be able to visit the city at their own pace.
Every flat can sleep from 3 to 5 people, depending on their layout.
For everyone at From Home to Rome, Pianellari is a chance to provide our loyal guests a service they have been asking for for years, at extremely competitive prices: no hotel can match our rates per apartment!
The location is not half bad either: the entire building is literally steps from the Caravaggio decorated Church of St. Augustine, with Piazza Navona and the Pantheon around the corner along with the Church of Saint Louis of the French, Campo de’ Fiori, the Ara Pacis Museum or Via dei Coronari.
More landmarks can be reached either on foot or by bus (or, for the lovers of new tools, by bike).
Additionally, and it goes without saying, the nature of Pianellari is such that every unit can also be booked independently. So even if you’re not traveling in a large group, this might very well be the perfect holiday rental for your next visit to Rome!
